Characteristics
The German roach is a very common species and the one usually found
in kitchens. The adults are comparatively
small (about 1/2 inch long), tan in color and often occur in large
numbers.
Color: Varies from black, brown and black, red and black, to light
brown depending on the species.The two most common pest species
are black in color.
